Shining Star Preschool
Making a difference in a child’s life for over 25 years!
Our mission is to nurture the “whole child.”
Shining Star Preschool is open to all children, regardless of church affiliation, ethnicity or language spoken. It provides age-appropriate learning experiences for children ages 3 to 5 years old. The goal of the preschool is to provide experiences that stimulate the child’s interest in God’s world and provide an environment where each child is nurtured in their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development. It is our goal to make preschool available to every family! We have created an environment that is exciting, colorful, safe and completely kid-friendly.
We provide a “learn-by-doing” atmosphere!
Shining Star Preschool is a place where we aim to nurture the “whole child” in areas of physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development. This is achieved by providing a variety of activities that are developmentally appropriate and recognizes the individual needs and differences of children. Each day we do many fun activities, all to encourage children to be independent thinkers and lifelong learners.
Some of the activities include:
- Musical instruments & singing
- Art, drama, painting & dancing
- Reading & storybooks
- Puzzles & building blocks
- Dress-up clothes and play house area
- A world of toy animals
- Sensory table
- Outdoor playground, swings, slide & sand box
- Free-play & so much more!
Tuesday & Thursday Mornings

Monday, Wednesday & Friday Mornings or Afternoons
